We know it is tempting just to fill in a grant application form and send it in, hoping that you may get some money out of it. This programme of LEADER funding is a two stage process with an Outline Application - if you are successful with this it will allow you to complete a full application. The eligibility and appraisal stage of the Outline Application is quite detailed and you will need to ensure that your project meets these criteria. Also, this is a competitive process, with only those projects with the best return with regard to jobs, outcomes and impact on the rural communities being funded.
Attached below for you to download is the Applicant’s Manual. Please read this first and if you think your project may be suitable for funding contact Alan Truscott, Programme Manager, to discuss it with him and if suitable he will issue a set of Outline Application forms to you.
